Ottawa, Ontario 2

The second part of my Ottawa trip! Still very cold. We went to see a movie (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy) in preparation for our Academy Awards night! (Because I wanted to see at least 1 of the movies nominated for something!)

It was brilliantly sunny!

I don't remember why we shake our fist at this building... :/

And someone was kind enough to knit some clothes for this poor statue. :P

We walked over to the gallery, and a very pretty church.

My first time to Walmart ever! ;D

Then we headed back to Thien-An's place for some Academy Awards! :D

Ottawa, Ontario 1

Here's the first bunch of pictures from my trip to the capital on reading week. I went to visit my friend Thien-an on my way back from Tremblant. I didn't really know my way around so I just said, "Drop me at the parliament buildings and she will find me eventually!" Hahaha

It was really cold and windy for my touring. Not ideal for photography when you would really prefer to be wearing mittens...

The sun came out for a bit. :D

I went to the Rideau Canal.

I got a bit lost trying to take this underpass, not realizing that it didn't lead me to where I actually wanted to go...

Back on track, I found my way over to University of Ottawa campus where I met up with my friend.

Necessary to any visitor to Ottawa: Beavertails and poutine.

We also went to the campus library to get books. Not necessary for tourists.
Then we headed back and had a movie night! :D

More pictures soon!
