Vancouver, BC 3

That evening we headed over to Jericho beach, with our cousin Jessica. There was some sort of music festival going on as well as a art and crafts sale/market.(Apparently this thing happens every year?)

The water was super cold!
This guy had the most amazing dreads ever. Of all time.
I want this bike. Seriously.
We went to another beach right in front of the restaurant where we had dinner, and we were treated to a gorgeous sunset!
What a beautiful way to end the day!

Stay tuned for more of my west coast pics! :D

UK Trip: Folkestone 2

Continuing with my second day in Folkestone.

If anyone was wondering where the annual realism convention was...

It started off very foggy.

I met up with my cousins and after packing up their campsite we started with some of the installations up on the golf course.

This installation was a neat combination with mirrors.

What time is it?

This installation was in this amazing old hotel. They had covered the wall in a layer of that wax stuff used on those scratch and win cards. They handed us pennies so we could scratch some off and reveal part of the mural on the wall in behind it.

The sun was trying to break through the fog all morning.

The installation with the bones was a fake creature that was created using the bones from a bunch of different animals.

The sun came out and was went to the beach. It was pleasantly hot. :D My only issue was that it was a pebble beach that was ridiculously painful to walk on with no shoes. Ouch!

Then we went to a local attraction which is a real miniature steam engine.

Ritchie and I took a lovely train ride across the countryside. :) He was so stoked for this and had been telling me about it for days!
Then we drove back to London. Only getting a little bit lost. (On a side note, the pillars on that bridge reminded me of one I saw in Innsbruck, Austria)
