Vancouver, BC 4

The morning of the wedding we toured around the Athlete's Vilage for a bit. This was built for the Vancouver Olympics back in 2010.
Not exactly sure what the installation with the giant birds was all about, but they were massive.
There were lots of people out practicing their rowing while enjoying the sunshine! What a beautiful day!
We came so my mum could photograph this particular pedestrian bridge. I think it's pretty cool. :)
Naptime! ;D

Vancouver, BC 2

The second part of my Vancouver trip photos!

We started our second day with a trip to the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

I have to say that shooting in the forest with the sun streaming through is one of the most difficult lighting conditions I have encountered so far.
Pretty sure that totem pole is of the majestic were-beaver.
Trees in BC apparently like to grow sideways.
This tree looks pretty derpy...
There was a cool tree-house walkway on the other side of the bridge.

Really amazing bridge, it swayed a lot while we were on it because there were so many people. Made me feel like I was on a boat.
We went to a nice Indian place for lunch. The food was really amazing. :D

We headed back into Vancouver and hung out on one of the shopping streets for the afternoon.
Then we meandered back to the hotel for a bit of R&R before heading out for dinner.
