A little late, but here is the first real part of my epic Whistler adventure!
So we arrived in the late afternoon, and toured around the town for most of the afternoon. We ate dinner and did our grocery shopping before hitting the pool later in the evening.

Shanon Falls, BC
Hey guys!
(A bit late on this one. Photobucket was having some issues with their new interface, and I had some major assignments due over the past 2 weeks!)
We took a trip up to Whistler after the wedding. On the way there we stopped at Shanon Falls, which was a gorgeous waterfall.
We didn't end up going in the Mine Museum, but it looked interesting... Maybe next time!
blah?
This is where I started to have fun adjusting my settings for both the darkness in the woods, and then the speed of the water. I got some really cool shots of the waterfall. :)
Stay tuned for Whistler! :D

Jane & Ian's Wedding, Vancouver, BC 5
Here are my pictures from Jane and Ian's wedding, finally. :) We got there a bit early, so I took a few pictures of the venue. It was up at Simon Fraser University.
Congratulations to the happy couple! :)
Each table had a theme based on something the couple did together. We were the Game of Thrones table, which I totally approve of!
Please note there is a picture of my mum at one of her sister's weddings in exactly the same pose as Elanne is making in this picture above. It must be a youngest child thing.
<- The three sisters! :)
Elanne gazing longingly at the cupcakes. She is a cupcake-holic.
<- Chad and Jessica, also at our Game of Thrones table.
<- Cutting the cupcake. A flock of cupcakes is way better than a giant cake.
The first dances! Jane's dress is gorgeous! I think at this point the train was actually fastened and tucked up at the back of the dress?
We were treated to a spectacular view and a gorgeous sunset over the mountains!
At a certain point I stopped taking pictures because I was having too much fun dancing. Also it got dark.
At the very end of the night we were actually treated to a very faint view of the Northern Lights off in the distance. Man, they really know how to plan weddings! Hahaha
I made my own dress to wear to the event, which I obviously didn't take any pictures of myself. You can see how I made that here!
Then next day was spent mainly visiting with family. We went over to Granville Island with the cousins, and hung out together. It was nice to spend time with the side of my family I hadn't seen in ages.
On a side note this is what an industrial embroidery machine looks like and I so wish we had one of those at work... sigh.
